The chassis exposed

Thanks to Mat and Liam for helping me get it off.

Brakes have arrived

Body is ready to come off

Thursday night I have some mates coming round to help me lift it off the chassis.

What a waste of a night...

Can't get the brake pump off, managed to get two of the bolts off but the body needs to be off to get it out.

Found two more bolts hidden below sheet metal that is keeping the body on the chassis. It's too late to cut the panels away so that has to wait till tomorrow.

Can't get the front leaf spring apart to clean it properly.

This is frustrating.

Body problems

It would seem that the rust got covered up with sheet metal. Over the bolts that hold the body to the chassis.

Transaxle

I sent the diff, prop and gearbox to Transxle to be cleaned up and serviced. Adrian has seen some issues with it, luckily i have a second gearbox as a donor to steal parts from.

Left control arm

Finished de-tectyling, cleaning and painting. I should consider replacing bearings and grease nipples and all the grease but that is for another day.
